Destination Points Encourage New Business, Teamwork

Points accumulated with each new transaction; double points were awarded to employees who met or exceeded their goals. Branch managers earned points based on the banking office's total performance. If the office met its goal, everyone's points doubled. This encouraged teamwork. To launch the campaign, the bank issued a welcome kit, including a 128-page catalog featuring more than 1,200 merchandise items. A separate brochure included travel packages at different price points. On a quarterly basis, employees were entered in a sweepstakes for travel and merchandise prizes.
